VapeToPower has developed a new sustainable technology to remediate VOC vapours by generating electricity from the vapours.
VapeToPower uses a highly advanced motor management system to enable a generator to run on VOC vapours, no matter the fluctuations in the incoming flows. Enabling a circular solution in a world that is dominated by burning/oxidising vapours, leading to significant missed opportunity of using captured energy in VOC vapours.
VapeToPower both offers vapour remediation services and the possibility to lease installations.
VapeToPower was launched in 2021 with the belief that an advanced motor management system will enable a combustion engine generator to create electricity by remediating VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) vapours in fluctuating compositions and concentrations.
After initial desk research and tests, development was initiated. Leading to a design both for the infrastructure and the process controls. in 2022
A full scale prototype was build by our supplying partners in, followed by extensive testing and optimising of process parameters in 2023.
The first real degasssing of a tankerbarge in The Netherlands was executed with very strong performance in 2024. Confirmation of emmisions by accredited bodies is planned for autumn 2024
VapeToPower is ready to provide degassing services.
